Outbound Contact Centre Callers

This part-time, Auckland based position involves phoning of existing and potential new members of Amnesty International. Hours are 5 till 8:00pm, Monday through Thursday on a four month contract, with the possibility of a contract extension for the right candidates. Up to three vacancies exist for this position which reports to the Contact Centre Supervisor. Full training will be given to successful candidates although some contact centre or customer service experience is an advantage.
To telephone existing Amnesty members for a variety of administrative and promotional purposes, including contribution upgrades.

TASKS:
To recruit new members to Amnesty by following up on expressions of interest registered at events Amnesty is present at or hosting.To telephone existing Amnesty members for a variety of administrative and promotional purposes, including contribution upgrades.
SKILLS:
You will be:- Confident, a clear communicator, and customer service focused.
- Capable of meeting agreed calling targets.
- Have an interest in human rights and what Amnesty International stands for.
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English.
- Superior people skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A high level of personal integrity as the role involves access to personal details of Amnesty members.
- Computer skills (although training will be given).
