Human Rights Fiesta

Where: Civic Square, Wellington
Julia, Irootz and Batacuda help Amnesty International celebrate 60 years of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This evening event includes inspirational speakers, food, information and take action stalls.... and a toast to freedom.
Organised by the Amnesty International's Wellington Regional Team.

Kapiti Human Rights Day Celebration
When: 10 December 2008, 11am
Where: Kapiti Library
Join us for the presentation of 60 human rights books to Kapiti District Libraries by The Very Reverend John Murray, a Human Rights Day address by Commissioner Joy Liddicoat (NZ Human Rights Commission), and the opening of the Gandhi Commemorative Photographic Exhibition (featuring historic photographs of D.R.D Wadia).
