Are you a fundraising and marketing champion, looking to put your creative skills to use to make the world a better place?

Can you think strategically while also keeping an eye on the detail?

Do you have a cool head under pressure and thrive on the challenges of a multi-faceted role?

If the thought of being part of a Nobel Peace Prize winning organisation based in our Auckland CBD office appeals to you then read on.

Amnesty International is a global movement for human rights. When injustice happens to one person, it matters to us all. We bring torturers to justice, change oppressive laws and free people around the world jailed for voicing their opinions.

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Individual Giving Manager to develop and deliver our individual giving programme.

Reporting to the Fundraising and Marketing Director, you will optimise our fundraising potential while ensuring that our supporters have a unique and powerful experience. You will have the opportunity to shape strategy and development of key fundraising initiatives and lead cross-functional project teams to deliver supporter communications and appeals.

You will have a strong fundraising and/or marketing background (at least 5 years’ experience) with proven ability to develop and execute campaigns. Your knowledge of fundraising principles and practice is well honed and you have experience with a wide range of direct marketing approaches and tools.

You will be managing team members and mentoring colleagues in our small team so it is essential that you have strong leadership skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence. It goes without saying that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are participatory in your approach.

The role has a salary range of $72,000 to $80,000 per year FTE commensurate with experience.

To apply, please submit CV and cover letter explaining why you’d be the perfect person for this job.
