"Shouting out for climate justice!" - Freedom Challenge 2020
Freedom Challenge is a chance for New Zealand’s youth to take action for human rights.
Each year, youth advocates in 70 schools & 4 Universities hone in on a particular human rights issue. This year the topic is Shouting out for Climate Justice!
Climate change isn't just an environmental issue, it's a human issue. It effects a range of human rights; from the right to fresh air, to a home, to the right to life itself. That's why this year's focus is on raising the voices of youth passionate about climate justice, passionate to paint their own picture of a world with compassion for the environment and the people within it.
